How to make People Cards through ‘Add me to search’
So let me tell you how you can very easily add your name to Google search and prepare your virtual visiting card.
For this, you must first have an account with Google, that is, you must have a Gmail ID. And if you use a smartphone, then you will definitely have one.
After this, you have to go to Google search on your phone.
And there you have to type, ‘Add me to search’. After clicking the search button you will get the ‘Get Started’ option in the search results. Here you have to click on Get Started.
And then if the email option comes, then you have to add your email ID there. After that, you will have to verify your phone number. By the way, if you want, you can also skip phone verification.
And in the next step, you will have an option to create your virtual visiting card, here you will first set a profile photo of your own and after that, you will have to add your name and location.
And whatever additional information you want to give about yourself, you have to add that information. Just like what work you do, what is your hobby, you can mention it all.
The next tab is about occupation, here you will have to add information related to your profession.
In the next tab, you will have to mention your company where you work. Along with this, you will also give all information about your educational qualification, where you belong, what is your home town, etc.
Now next to this, you can also mention your website, email id, phone number.
Actually, here four things “Name, Location, About You, and Occupation” are mandatory. Apart from this, If you want you can mention your other information. And if you don’t want then you can skip it too.
After adding all this information, you have to click on the preview tab. And now you should verify whatever informations you have added.
And if you feel that there is no need to edit anything in it, then you save it and your virtual visiting card will be ready on Google.
And after this, if someone searches about you on Google, then he will see your virtual visiting card. And he can access all your information.
If you want to access your People’s Card yourself then you will have to type ‘add me to search’ on Google and you will get all your information.
